God Squad Animated Series – Backgrounds

Location photographs and 3d geometry were combined into matte paintings when producing the background artwork for God Squad. The idea was to reflect a futuristic environment that was able to reflect a familiar 70’s aesthetic from cop shows like Kojak, Chips etc.
